Symposium Language

Turkish, Arabic and English.

 

Participation Conditions:

  1. Paper abstracts must be in Turkish, Arabic or English. Turkish abstracts should include an English abstract, Arabic abstracts should include an English abstract.
  2. Papers must be scientific and original.
  3. Papers must not have been sent to another symposium.
  4. Paper presentations in sessions will be limited to 15 minutes. The paper presentation should be prepared by taking this into consideration.

Descriptions

  1. Symposium is planned to be held online and face to face.
  2. The papers are of international quality so that they can be used in applications for associate professorship and professorship.
  3. Symposium presentations will be published as an Editorial Book and Abstract Booklet.

TEXT SENDING

 

Dear researchers, you can use the imsh.2024@neu.edu.tr address to send papers to the symposium and for all kinds of communication.

 

ABSTRACT GUIDELINE

  1. Fill out the Summary Form completely (Applications containing incomplete information will not be accepted).
  2. Abstract texts must be at least 250 and at most 500 words. The summary should include the purpose, method, main findings and conclusion.
  3. Keywords consisting of at least three and at most five words should be written one line below the abstract.

Full Text Submission

  1. Dear participants, depending on the nature of the symposium presentations, they will be published as an Editorial Book, Symposium Paper Book and Abstract Booklet.
  2. Abstracts and full texts must include full imprint including title, name, surname, institution, department, e-mail, ORCID number and information.
  3. Abstracts other than English should be submitted with English translations.
  4. Information should be given whether the papers have been published anywhere before.

Plagiarie Raport

The report received from similarity programs provided by universities such as Turnitin, İthencitace, İntihal.net must be notified.

Full Text Writing Rules

  1. ISNAD ATIF system will be preferred in papers (2nd Edition). https://www.isnadsistemi.org/guide/isnad2/
  2. Title: The title should be written in English as well as the language in which the text is written. The title must be written in capital letters and 14 point font.
  3. An abstract will be included in the full-text paper, but abstracts will not be included in studies that will be book chapters. This matter will be announced later. Abstracts should be in Times New Roman 12 point font and line spacing should be 1 (single).

Page Setup:

A4 size, Times New Roman 12 point font

Margins 2.5 cm from right, left, top and bottom

Line spacing should be 1.25 and 6 pt half line space.

The page number should be given at the bottom of the page, on the left.

Main Title: Must be written in all capital letters, aligned to the left and bold. Numbering will be done except for the INTRODUCTION and CONCLUSION sections.

Sub-titles: All bold, aligned left; The first letter of each word should be capitalized.

Figures, tables, maps and photographs: Figures, tables, maps and photographs should not extend beyond the writing area, and if necessary, each should be on a separate page. Figures and tables should be numbered and named in Turkish or English depending on their content. Numbers and headings should be written in 10-point font, with only the first letters of the words capitalized, and placed below the figures, tables, maps and photographs. Times New Roman 10 point font should be used in the contents of tables and figures.
